Project Brief

The intention behind this project was to maximize the value of the property for the next purchaser. This was done by creating a more open plan living space making the home feel larger in size, as well as creating a mezzanine level in the existing roof space.

“We were blown away by the creative and ingenious methods used to maximize the existing floor space in the house as well as finding a way to create additional floor space in the roof! We would highly recommend Phase Three to anyone needing renovations to their home.”

Inspiration

The space called for a minimal contemporary look with masculine finishes of browns, blacks and whites. Natural wood elements were used to bring in a softer more organic feel to create balance and harmony in the home.

Challenges

In order to create more space in the home, the roof was opened up to expose the structure which was a huge feat. In doing so an open void within the roof was discovered which was then turned into a study, creating additional floor space in the home.
