Although each unit was bought off plan which allowed the buyer to choose their own unique interior décor, the layout and finishes of each unit are all the same. As its name signifies, Bantry Bay lies perched on the rocks overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in one of the most exclusive bays on the Atlantic Seaboard. Crashing waves, magnificent sunsets and protection from the wind make Bantry Bay much sought after and, because of its position, an ideal base from which to explore Cape Town. Bantry Bay lies just outside the vibey suburb of Sea Point and, although it doesn’t have a beach of its own, you can reach the beaches of Clifton on foot or Saunders Rocks on the border of Bantry Bay and Sea Point has a little tidal pool.

The suburb hugs the slopes of Lion’s Head and the very contemporary apartments that line the Bantry Bay sea front are as close to the ocean as you can get. The main challenge with this project was of a strategic nature. The apartment block was constructed from boundary to boundary therefore it entailed working with the neighbouring home owners so that everyone was happy at the end of the day. The narrow roads and tall surrounding buildings also made the construction more difficult and there was a lot of planning and forethought needed to execute the structural side of the project
